I took the girls up to my hairdresser this morning for their first "real" haircuts....in other words, the first cuts that weren't done by yours truly! I think they look really cute. Olivia wanted to make sure their cuts were the same, "so we can be twins." Wonder how long she'll want that?!?!

Kansas City Band Trip
On May 20th-22nd we went with the band to Kansas City. The kids marched at Worlds of Fun, and then rode rides for the rest of the day. It was a great experience, and even Aaron and I had a blast!

The Four Little Fish
Olivia's class did a little play on the last Monday of school. It was so cute. It was a take-off of the Three Little Pigs--except it was the Four Little Fish.
When it was over, I caught this picture of Sonya and Olivia, peeking out of the "house" that Olivia built (she was the fourth little fish)
Olivia and some of her classmates.
Olivia and her friend Alexa.

Spring Concert 2010
Receiving certificates for Sing Around Nebraska
Performing the song "Ja-Da" with the other kids who went to SAN.
I had the kindergarteners sing "Tooty ta," and I surprised the 6th graders by inviting them up to sing along....because when they were in Kindergarten many of them had done it at a concert. You can see that they're a little red in the face, but it was good for them, I think, and they're still speaking to me, so it's all good!

Sonya was looking through a drawer a couple days ago and brought me this picture. She said, "look at this cute picture of me and Paul when we were little." I laughed and laughed, and said, "that's not you. Who do you think it is?" It took her a while, and she guessed Olivia first, but she finally guessed Miranda. When I see pictures from this era, I'm reminded how much they look alike. Of course, Miranda HATES to be told that!!!

Field Day 2010
Sonya competing in the sack race, with a smile on her face, of course!
And in the potato race.
Paul and Sonya got to race together, just for fun.

Waiting in the lunch line.
