We wanted to take the kids swimming at the YMCA today, just for something fun to do this Labor Day weekend, but I called and they aren't open on Saturdays until after Labor Day. Well, Aaron came up with a great 'Plan B'--going to the Children's Museum in NP. It turned out to be a really fun day, and I was actually surprised at how much the older 2 enjoyed it. They had been there for pre-school field trips, but that's been a while!

As I said, I was sort of surprised (pleasantly) at how much fun P and M had....I figured they'd think it was dumb.....but I think they had the most fun, partially because they have all of these memories of going with Mrs. MacGregor on her field trips! They ran from room to room, talking about things that were still there from before. This wheelchair was one of the things they remembered fondly.

How fun! I have been wanting to take the kids there, but never seem to get there.
I didn't even know NP had a children's museum. How cool! Looks like fun was had by all!
