We spent Tuesday through today visiting Aaron's folks in central WY (8 hrs. away, but who's counting). Thank goodness for portable DVD players (thanks, Kim, for the extra set so P and M didn't have to watch endless Spongebob and Care Bears). Anyway, we hadn't been to their place in nearly 2 years. I had been thinking it was just one, but then remembered that the last time we were there, Sonya was still "scooting," so it had to be 2 summers ago. That's terrible!! I can't believe it's been that long. Anyway, we had a great time. These pictures show a couple of the highlights, although, in my typical fashion, I forgot my camera most of the time. On one of the days they took us to Thermopolis, site of the largest mineral springs, so there are a couple of nice pools with waterslides (and a nice sulfer smell thrown in, as well). But it was really fun for the kids, especially. We also got to go "rock hunting" (I included pics just for you, Renee :-) and spent quite a bit of time at parks, etc....Another highlight was that Aaron's mom gave us some money to go on a date for our 13th anniversary, so we went to a really good, authentic Mexican restaurant and then went to "Indiana Jones." (not a great date movie, but a better choice than "Sex and the City.")

Sounds like a fun time! I just had never heard of rock hunting, but it makes perfect sense ;)
Sounds like you had a great time Sara. Hope to see you at the pool this summer.
