The great, dirty outdoors

The girls spent a lot of time outside tonight, playing just north of us in a place that's mostly dirt and weeds. The spot would actually be a perfect spot for a garden, but the problem is that our property line runs right down the middle of it. Anyway, they had tons of fun making interesting (dirty) concoctions in the birdbath. It's always a little ironic to me that in our family, the boy would prefer to stay inside and play the piano or a computer game, and the girls prefer to be elbow-deep in mud or dirt.
